While it is true that you cannot take your pets into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, there is a multitude other activities to do with them during your Smokies Vacation!
1. Patriot Park
a. Take them for a stroll around Patriot Park. Chances are you’ll encounter a festival if you are there during the summer months!
a. The Greenway runs beside the Little Pigeon River—it is a great way to get outdoors and let them stretch their legs.
3. Wear Farm City Park
a. With lighted baseball and football fields, walking trails and playground, you and your pets are bound to have fun here!
4. Great Smokies Flea Market
a. Buy yourself some Appalachian goodies while you and your furry friend browse through all the various booths.
5. Cades Cove
a. Always a crowd favorite! The loop is moderately easy and pets are ALLOWED!
6. Smoky Mountain River Rat
a. Enjoy tubing down the river while your pet lounges with you along for the ride.
a. Everyone loves Dollywood- and so will your pet! While you are in the park, leave your fur ball in the competent hands of Doggywood!
8. The Island
a. The Island is such a fun, family-friendly environment. Get an ice cream cone and stroll around with your pet drinking in the sights.
