Great Smoky Easter Arts & Crafts Show - Handcrafted one-of-a-kind fine art and craft items created by Gatlinburg’s nearby enclave of artists that are tucked away in the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community. Artisans place their wares on display and offer works for sale at their combined annual Easter show located in the Gatlinburg Convention Center.

Wine, Dine and Art Crawl - Explore the historic Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Community on a private tour of participating galleries, restaurants and wineries. 5:00 to 9:00 pm enjoy private, guided tours of participating galleries. Meet the artists while sampling local wines and enjoying hors d'oeuvres from local restaurants.  Finish the evening with a sit down dinner at one of Gatlinburg’s unique eating establishments, all for one low price! Seating is limited and reservations are required. This event is for those 21 years of age and older. This is an event of Gatlinburg Smoky Mountain Wine Fest, and tickets will be available for purchase in early 2015.

Mountain Man Memorial March - This is the Eighth Annual Mountain Man Memorial March, which is a 26.2-mile march in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. The march takes place on Saturday, April 11 in Gatlinburg as a tribute to our men and women in uniform. April 10 - 11, 2015.

A Naturally Picked Stacked Attraction of Glitz - Free and open to the public, the community is encouraged to attend with their friends and family. April 10th 7:00 to 9:00 pm is the opening reception for this exhibit of sculpture, video art, installations, and interactive work made by the following Arromont Artists-in-Residence: F.E. Toan, Amy Masters, Hunter Creel, Matthew Dercole and Nicholas Stawinski. Visitors can enjoy this exciting display in the Sandra J. Blain Gallery at Arrowmont in Gatlinburg, TN from March 30th until May 9th 2015.

Gatlinburg Smoky Mountain Wine Fest will be held at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts on Saturday April 11th from 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Wineries for the event will be coming from all over Tennessee! Visitors age 21 and older will purchase a ticket to the festival for $20 and receive a wristband for sampling and a branded wine glass.  A portion of proceeds will benefit the Gatlinburg Hospitality Association Scholarship Fund and Arrowmont School of Arts & Crafts.

JAMfest Nationals in the Smokies The Sevierville Convention Center, Sevierville, Tennessee, is excited to serve as the local venue for JAMfest -- an international event production company. Based in Louisville, Kentucky, JAMfest hosts cheer and dance competitions throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. Their goal to "Create a lot of fun and excitement" is not only met, but surpassed, at all of the approximately 70 events this company holds throughout the year. The lecture, An Extended Consideration of Decoration, will explore the meaning and purpose of decoration. This is a great time of year for us to recognize and honor all service personnel To receive Celebrate Freedom! discounts, servicemen and women need to show proper identification and proof of service.

Stringtime in the Smokies – The following fantastic bands converge onto the stage at Old Mill Square in the heart of Pigeon Forge: Grassroots Gringos, Richard Bennett and Wyatt Rice and Robinella. Register to compete or sit back and enjoy the Smoky Mountain Cornhole Tournament in Memory of Sergeant Brett Benton. The entire day of music and activities begins at 11:00 a.m. with evening bluegrass performances beginning at 7:00 p.m. Bring along your own lawn chair and make plans now to participate in Stringtime in the Smokies.

Fall Color in the Smokies – A common misconception is that peak fall leaf color season in Great Smoky Mountains National Park happens in mid-October. Spectacularly bright colors actually light up the Smoky Mountain zone for seven+ weeks. Colors begin to intensify at peak elevations then make their way down to Pigeon Forge in the foothills at the base of the mountains.

Yama Con - Yama Con is a convention that focuses on Anime and the Japanese culture, but also feature others activities that are related to all things having to do with video games, cards, board games, comics and more.  Registration fees range from $25-$75 and can be completed online at www.yamacon.org.  Make plans now to celebrate everything nerdy, geeky and otaku at the Smoky Mountain Convention Center.
