Pigeon Forge Patriot Festival July 4, 2015

Pack up your family and join the fun July 4th, 2015 in Pigeon Forge, TN at Patriot Park to celebrate America's birthday!

Your family will absolutely love to celebrate Independence Day in the beautiful Smoky Mountains at the Annual Patriot Festival. Festivities kick off at 1:00 p.m. on July 4th. The Patriot Festival is FREE and open to the public. The Patriot Festival is afternoon and evening of great food, games, entertainment and a firework finale! Patriot Park is located on Old Mill Street at traffic light number 7 behind the historic Old Mill. Take advantage of the city parking lot on Teaster Lane with a trolley shuttle going to Patriot Park. At 1:00 in the afternoon, the Kids Carnival begins. Kids will love the free Kids’ Karnival zone with inflatables and games.

Stand and participate in "Veterans Salute."  Veterans appreciate the military salute at the Pigeon Forge Patriot Festival. We can never thank them enough. The community of Pigeon Forge is always finding special ways to honor soldiers who served their time of military service. Businesses decorate with red, white and blue to celebrate America. The annual Patriot Festival is a great way to celebrate Independence Day and show appreciation for all men and women who serve.

Sample a rich variety of foods for sale by local organizations. From churches to scout troops, the city of Pigeon Forge has no shortage of great cooks who sell their local delicacies for the benefit of the local community. Whether you crave a corn dog or a cupcake, the Pigeon Forge Patriot Festival is a great place to discover the flavors of the Smoky Mountains. 

Fans who come to enjoy the music should bring a lawn chair (no umbrellas, please) and prepare to enjoy an outstanding lineup of live musical entertainment.
 
2014 SCHEDULE - 2015 PATRIOT FESTIVAL SCHEDULE TBA

After an opening performance by the Pigeon Forge Community Chorus, a variety of groups will play throughout the evening and into the night. This year’s lineup includes:

  • Grafite, a local band made up of four members ranging in age from 9 to 11. They play 70’s rock and pop rock that the entire audience will recognize.
  • Thompson Square, the husband and wife duo of Keifer and Shawna Thompson. Country meets Rock. “Let’s Fight” and “Keeping Up With The Joneses” are two of their top songs.
  • TelluRide, a new group from Nashville that is made up of determined, talented musicians of all genres. Their album, Four Square Miles, is now available.
  • Jimbo Whaley and Greenbrier – a singer and songwriter, Jimbo, grew up in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, with music always being a part of his life. He has written numerous songs including: The Foundation, M.R.s Rolling Store, The Legend of Jack Huff, and the fan favorite, The Kings of Orebank.
  • Eden’s Edge,a music trio from Nashville, are today’s country with wings and roots.
  • Steve Azar, a talented singer-songwriter, is known for such top country hits as “I Don’t Have To Be Me ‘Til Monday” and “Waitin’ on Joe.”

  • Diamond Rio made the transition from mainstream country music to Christian music, and it wasn’t a major stretch. The group has long been known for such positive hits as “I Believe”, “Mama Don’t Forget To Pray For Me”, and “One More Day”. They are enjoying one of the most successful careers in country music!
  • Fireworks!
    Fireworks will be broadcast live on WIVK 107.7   At the conclusion of all musical performances, the Pigeon Forge night sky comes to life with a fantastic fireworks display. The fireworks usually start at 9:30 to 9:45 pm, so keep your eyes on the skies. You won't want to miss this display in Pigeon Forge July 4th while we celebrate our great nation.
