What our Visitors Suggest...
“My favorite theater is the Comedy Barn. We always see it while in Pigeon Forge, but I also like to see Dixie Stampede and Black Bear Jamboree. I like all the things to do in the Smokey Mountain area.”
-Texanna
“My favorite theater in the Smokies is The Comedy Barn. The reasons that The Comedy Barn is my favorite are numerous. First of all it is clean comedy that the whole family can enjoy. The staff goes to great lengths to maintain the cleanliness of the show. Also the price is reasonable. I believe that both my husband and I attended for around $50 give or take a few. Another big plus for The Comedy Barn is that the dogs used during the show have been rescued from the local animal shelters. I would recommend The Comedy Barn to anyone.”
-Charlotte
“There are so many wonderful theaters in Pigeon Forge, but there are three that deserve a special mention. First is Terry Evanswood Magic Beyond Belief. Forget what you ever thought of a magic act and go see this show!! I was blown away by Terry !! He is an incredible performer and a wonderful person. Second is Black Bear Jamboree. It is an incredibly great show. The Miracle is a beautiful tribute to the life of Christ. It follows the Bible, and is an A+ performance.”
-Nancy
“On our recent motor coach trip to Pigeon Forge we enjoyed four different shows. Trying to decide the best of the four turned out to be a trying experience. The shows that we saw were Memories, Black Bear Jamboree, Tennessee Shindig and Country Tonight. The Black Bear Jamboree had removed much of the dialogue from the previous time that we visited and added more music, thereby making the show much more to our liking. Memories was very good and our motor coach passengers were really thrilled that the performers came on our bus after the show and interacted with them. Country Shindig and Country Tonight were superb. The costume changes and the high energy displayed by the performers, plus great singing, make for a very enjoyable evening. So, I am sorry to say, from our 55 motor coach passengers, we could not pick a clear-cut winner from the four shows. Or maybe, that is a good thing!”
-Sheila
“My favorite theater in the Smokies would have to be Country Tonite, there are so many great musical talents in the Smokies and I just feel that this theater has some of the best in the area. For more of a variety show, you can’t beat Dixie Stampede, the pre-show is great, and the arena entertainment is awesome. Not to mention eating with your fingers, that one really boggles the mind at first. These are the two shows that I would recommend to any newcomers to the Smokies. Still counting down, 90 more days until our next Smoky Mountain trip.”
