Bloomin' Barbeque and Bluegrass

Downtown Sevierville is the place to be the weekend of May 19th! Admission to the Bloomin' Barbeque and Bluegrass festival is free, and you can eat wonderful down-home, slow-cooked barbeque while jamming to Smoky Mountain bluegrass tunes. The line-up of artists this year include the ever popular Ricky Skaggs as well as The Grascals.

The weekend is not limited to food and music, either! Creative artists and crafters will be onsite demonstrating their skills and selling their wares. You can find a wide variety of works, from rocking chairs to aluminum can airplanes. There will even be barbeque grills and "fixins" like home-made sauces and rubs available for purchase so you can re-create the southern delight in your own kitchen.

Parking will be available in the lots at First Baptist Church, Old Suntrust Bank on Court Avenue, and several other downtown lots. Festivities on Friday, May 19th begin at five and last until 11 p.m.; things will get rolling the 20th at 11 a.m. and last until 11 that evening.
