United Tastes of America is back for its second year at Anakeesta, and it’s bringing all the flavors of summer with it. From May through August, you can snack your way across the country with tasting passes featuring dishes and drinks from 11 different states. Along the way, enjoy live music, fun entertainment, and plenty of red, white, and blue. It’s a great way to add a little extra fun and flavor to your Smoky Mountain trip. Tasting Passes: 5 & 7 Sample Options
Pick up a 5 sample or 7 sample tasting pass and try whatever looks good. You can mix and match both food and drinks as you explore the park. Passes can be purchased online, at the ticket booth, or even once you’ve made it up the mountain, so it’s easy to join the fun whenever you’re ready.
The Experience
As you walk through Anakeesta, you’ll find booths all around serving up flavors from 11 states across the country. All you have to do is order off the tasting menu and let them scan your pass! There is also live music, appearances by the Pixie Belles in festive red, white, and blue, and plenty of fun photo ops with Americana-themed landmarks. It’s a great way to enjoy good eats all summer long.
Food and Drink Options
Your tasting pass is good for items on the United Tastes of America menu. While some menu items include alcoholic drinks, you can easily substitute soda or water instead if you prefer. You’re not locked into just cocktails, so feel free to mix and match the food options and drinks to fit what you’re in the mood for.
Other Things to Do at Anakeesta
There’s a ton of things to do at Anakeesta while you’re here. Ride one (or both) of the mountain coasters, let the kids explore the BirdVenture playground, grab a bite at Cliff Top or one of the many restaurants at Anakeesta, or walk the Treetop Skywalk. You can zipline, climb the AnaVista Tower for some of the best views around, and if you stick around after dark, don’t miss Astra Lumina, the park’s nighttime light experience. There’s something for everyone, all day and into the evening.
Firefly Experience
While you’re exploring United Tastes of America, be sure to check out Anakeesta’s new Firefly Experience on the Treetop Skywalk. Inspired by the Smokies’ famous synchronous fireflies, this immersive lighting experience allows visitors to enjoy the magic of one of the region’s most unique natural phenomena throughout the year.
