Below is a list of the qualifications for each category in our Best Of Pigeon Forge annual contest. For a business to be nominated in any of the following categories, they must meet the terms listed in the description. For other general rules in our Best Of Pigeon Forge contest, please see our official rules page. PigeonForge.com reserves the right to alter these categories and their respective restrictions at any given time. Nominations may be removed from categories if PigeonForge.com is unable to verify any business’s qualification status.
Attractions & Events
Animal Encounter
An attraction in the Smoky Mountains area primarily offering interactive experiences with live animals. An animal encounter is defined as a controlled, hands-on interaction such as petting, feeding, or otherwise directly engaging with an animal, typically under the supervision of trained staff or animal care professionals. Experiences that are limited to passive viewing of animals, such as exhibits or displays where no direct interaction occurs, do not qualify. The names of individual animals do not qualify.
Arcade
Any arcade in the Smoky Mountains area. An arcade is defined as a venue housing coin or ticket-operated games. These games include but are not limited to video games, pinball machines, electro-mechanical games, merchandisers, billiards, and air hockey. Establishments that require an entry fee to reach the arcade do not qualify.
Bowling
An attraction in the Smoky Mountains area that offers any variety of bowling.
Car Show
An annual event involving a public exhibition of specific auto models, debuts, classic vehicles, or out-of-production automobiles. Eligible car shows must have at least two (2) past annual events on record and one (1) upcoming event scheduled or a past event this calendar year.
Comedy
An attraction in the Smoky Mountains area that offers entertainment primarily consisting of live comedic performances. The attraction must be primarily marketed as a comedic performance and offer a bookable comedic service a minimum of four (4) days a week for ten (10) months out of the year.
Destination
A localized attraction in the Smoky Mountains area that offers multiple indoor and outdoor activities including but not limited to shopping, dining, rides and other in-park entertainment. Candidates must include a minimum of one shop with multiple forms of merchandise, one dining establishment (a restaurant, food truck, or small bites concessions), and one ride or outdoor recreational activity.
Hotels and resorts are excluded from this category unless they offer these activities to patrons who are not utilizing the establishment's lodging services. Cities, counties, or other generalized areas (i.e. "parkway" or "downtown") do not qualify. Dollywood is excluded from this category.
Escape Room
Any escape room in the Smoky Mountains area. An escape room is a game where people are required to solve a series of puzzles within a time limit to accomplish a goal.
Festival
An annual event or celebration involving organized entertainment, showcases, competition, and/or vendors at a singular venue or collective group of venues. Eligible events must have at least two (2) past annual events on record and one (1) upcoming event scheduled or a past event this calendar year. Car shows are excluded from this category. Periods of seasonally themed decor at amusement parks, local attractions, or within cities do not qualify as festivals for the purpose of this category.
Go Karts
A business in the Smoky Mountains area where go karts are provided to race on a go kart track located on the premises.
Guided Tours
Any business in the Smoky Mountains area that offers guided (not self led) tours. Tours must be led by a human or an audio guide via a personal audio device. Guided tours may include motor vehicle excursions, helicopter and plane rides, food or drink based tours, and recreational activities alongside professionals. Whitewater rafting and ziplines are excluded from this category.
Horseback Riding
Any business in the Smoky Mountains area that offers guided horseback riding tours or horseback riding trails. Private vendors within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park are accepted in this category.
Indoor Attraction
Any attraction in the Smoky Mountains area that offers exclusively indoor activities. This category excludes shows and dinner theaters as well as attractions that offer both indoor and outdoor activities. The indoor attraction must be available for ticketed admission independently of any lodging opportunities at the establishment. Businesses that primarily operate as shops or sell specific services (i.e. smoke shops, tattoo shops) without offering any additional experiences do not necessarily qualify for this category.
Live Music
An attraction in the Smoky Mountains area that offers live musical entertainment at least two (2) days a week for at least four (4) months out of the year. The purpose of this category is to highlight live music experiences at establishments where live music is not necessarily the primary focus of the attraction. This includes but is not limited to attractions with house bands, restaurants, and other dining establishments in a live music environment, or those that offer consistent live musical performances. Shows and theaters where live music is a featured part of the ticketed event do not qualify. Individual bands and performing artists do not necessarily qualify.
Mini Golf
Any business in the Smoky Mountains area that offers putt putt or mini golf. Standard full-sized golf courses are excluded from this category.
Mountain Coaster
Any business in the Smoky Mountains area with a mountain/alpine coaster track on the premises. A mountain coaster is defined as an outdoor rail with passenger carts whose speed is controlled by the rider.
Museum
Any attraction in the Smoky Mountains area whose venue houses objects of historical, scientific, artistic, amusing, or cultural interest. Museums may also host interactive activities of the same nature. Dollywood museums are excluded from this category.
Old Time Photo
Any attraction in the Smoky Mountains area that specializes in souvenir photographs with an old-timey aesthetic.
Outdoor Attraction
An attraction in the Smoky Mountains area that offers a recreational experience conducted primarily outdoors. Eligible attractions must deliver the core activity in an open-air setting. Businesses that include limited indoor components such as a check-in area, welcome center, restrooms, or gift shop are still eligible, provided the main attraction takes place outdoors.
Attractions that offer both indoor (including dining) and outdoor experiences as part of the core activity are not eligible in this category. Vehicle rentals do not qualify. Rides or experiences that take place within the confines of a vehicle or windowed vessel do not necessarily qualify. Lodging establishments do not qualify.
Rafting
Any business in the Smoky Mountains area that offers guided whitewater rafting tours.
Ride
Any single specific amusement-park-type ride on the premises of a business in the Smoky Mountains area, or a business that primarily operates as a ride. Mountain coasters, go kart tracks, horseback riding, guided tours, vehicle rentals and Dollywood rides and roller coasters are excluded from this category. Standard zip lines are also excluded from this category unless they offer a unique experience different from traditional ziplines. Virtual reality games are excluded unless they include full motion seating.
Show
Any theater or regularly scheduled performance at a business in the Smoky Mountains area with live performers on stage or within the venue. The venue must have shows scheduled at least four (4) days a week for at least ten (10) months out of the year. This category includes dinner theaters, comedy, music, and more. Must include live human performers. This category excludes any Dollywood performances or theaters.
Tubing
An attraction in the Smoky Mountains that offers water tubing or snow tubing. Tubing is defined as a leisurely floating experience with an inflatable inner tube on natural, open water or a recreational activity on an inner tube sliding down a hill. Water parks and lazy rivers are excluded from this category.
Water Park
An amusement park featuring water play areas and other barefoot environments. For a location to be considered a water park it must have at least three (3) of the following features: more than one pool, a water slide, a separate water play area, a wave pool, a lazy river, a swim up bar, a water based ride, or a splash pad.
Zipline
Any business in the Smoky Mountains area with a zipline course on the premises.
Dining & Drinks
Asian Food
A dining establishment in the Smoky Mountains area primarily offering cuisine that incorporates significant provincial cooking styles from the continent of Asia. Eligible categories include but are not limited to Chinese food, Japanese food, and Indian food. Establishments that require an entry fee to any part of the premises are not eligible in this category.
New!Baked Goods
A business that primarily produces and sells freshly made baked goods such as cookies, cakes, pastries, breads, or similar items. Eligible businesses may include bakeries, dessert shops, and specialty baking operations, including those that offer custom orders or catering for items like birthday or wedding cakes. To qualify, baked goods must represent a primary focus of the business, with the majority of products sold falling within this category.
Establishments should operate in a manner consistent with a bakery or dessert shop experience, offering freshly prepared items for purchase on-site or by order. Full-service restaurants where baked goods are a secondary or limited part of the menu are not necessarily eligible. Grocery stores, convenience stores, and general retail locations that sell baked goods as part of a broader inventory do not qualify, even if they include an in-house bakery.
Bar
A business that serves alcoholic beverages for on-site consumption and features a dedicated bar area with seated service provided by a bartender. Eligible establishments may include standalone bars, restaurant bars, or hotel bars, provided the bar is accessible to the general public. Distilleries, breweries, or similar establishments that only offer tastings without a traditional bar setting do not qualify. Bars located within larger attractions or venues that require paid admission to access the general premises are not eligible, unless the bar area can be accessed independently without purchasing admission to the attraction itself.
Barbecue
Any restaurant or venue in the Smoky Mountains area that serves plated barbecue meals in house. Establishments must offer more options than barbecue flavored wings alone. Restaurants at Dollywood are excluded from this category. Dinner shows are excluded from this category. Establishments that require an entry fee to any part of the premises are not eligible in this category.
Breakfast
A restaurant or dining establishment in the Smoky Mountains area that offers breakfast on a daily basis. Must have a dedicated breakfast menu or breakfast items on the restaurant's regular menu. Restaurants that offer special brunch menus but not regular breakfast options do not qualify. Individual breakfast food items are not accepted. Coffee shops and fast casual dining establishments do not necessarily qualify. Restaurants at Dollywood are excluded from this category. Establishments that require an entry fee or a lodging reservation in order to dine at the designated breakfast location are not eligible in this category.
Brunch
A dining establishment in the Smoky Mountains area that offers a specialty brunch menu daily or only on select days. Must offer brunch menu at least one day a week. Restaurants that offer both breakfast and lunch menus alone do not necessarily qualify, unless they offer specific brunch-style cocktails alongside their breakfast menu, and/or hold operating hours typical of a brunch-style restaurant (i.e. morning to early afternoon). Establishments that require an entry fee to any part of the premises are not eligible in this category.
Burger
Any restaurant or venue in the Smoky Mountains area that offers burgers. Dinner shows as well as any establishment that requires an entry fee to any part of the premises are not eligible in this category.
Distillery
An establishment in the Smoky Mountains area that primarily distills hard alcohol like whiskey, gin, vodka, or rum. Establishments that require an entry fee to any part of the premises are not eligible in this category.
Fine Dining
A dining establishment in the Smoky Mountains area that offers a more sophisticated, unique, or expensive restaurant experience. Qualifications for a restaurant to be considered "fine dining" include but are not limited to: high quality ingredients, professionally trained or significantly recognized chefs, a distinctively upscale menu with possible seasonal variations, formal server etiquette & dress code, an elegant dining environment with spacious, uncrowded seating options, multiple course options, reservations recommended or required, and higher price points.
Qualifications for a restaurant to be removed from this category include but are not limited to: family style meals, buffets, pre-packaged food, casual server etiquette focused on quick turnaround, casual server dress code, frequent promotions or discount options, and informal dining arrangements. Establishments that require an entry fee to any part of the premises are not eligible in this category.
New!Ice Cream
A business in the area that offers ice cream as a dining menu option. This includes but is not limited to all forms of ice cream, milkshakes, frozen custard, Italian ice, and sorbet. Establishments that require an entry fee or a lodging reservation in order to purchase the ice cream are not eligible in this category.
Italian Food
A dining establishment in the Smoky Mountains area primarily offering cuisine that incorporates significant provincial cooking styles from the country of Italy. Pizza restaurants alone do not necessarily qualify; traditional Italian food should represent the majority of menu items offered. Establishments that require an entry fee to any part of the premises are not eligible in this category.
Mexican Food
A dining establishment in the Smoky Mountains area primarily offering cuisine that incorporates significant provincial cooking styles from the country of Mexico. Traditional Mexican food or Tex-Mex should represent the majority of menu items offered. Establishments that require an entry fee to any part of the premises are not eligible in this category.
Moonshine
Any restaurant, venue or distillery in the Smoky Mountains area that offers moonshine or custom ciders. Establishments that require an entry fee to any part of the premises are not eligible in this category.
New!Outdoor Seating
A restaurant in the Smoky Mountains area that offers a dedicated outdoor dining space for guests to enjoy food and beverages on-site. Eligible establishments must provide table service or designated seating areas outdoors, such as patios, decks, terraces, or garden spaces that are intentionally designed for dining. Completely screened in patio spaces do not necessarily qualify.
Outdoor seating should be a consistent and integrated part of the restaurant's experience, not limited to incidental or temporary seating. Walk-up counters, waiting areas, or businesses with only a few casual outdoor tables not intended for full dining service are not necessarily eligible. Establishments that require an entry fee in order to access the restaurant with outdoor seating are not eligible in this category.
New!Pancakes
A restaurant or dining establishment in the area that offers pancakes on their menu. Restaurants at Dollywood are excluded from this category. Establishments that require an entry fee to any part of the premises are not eligible in this category.
Pizza
Any restaurant or venue in the Smoky Mountains area that offers pizza. Flatbread does not count as pizza. Restaurants at Dollywood are excluded from this category. Establishments that require an entry fee to any part of the premises are not eligible in this category.
New!Rooftop Bar
A business that serves alcoholic beverages for on-site consumption and features a dedicated bar area located on an upper-level or rooftop space, offering open-air or elevated views. Eligible establishments must have a true rooftop or top-level setting that is intentionally designed for guest use, such as a terrace, deck, or lounge area above ground level. Rooftop bars may include standalone venues, restaurant bars, or hotel bars, provided the rooftop area is accessible to the general public. Bars located within larger attractions or venues that require paid admission to access the general premises are not eligible, unless the rooftop bar can be accessed independently without purchasing admission to the attraction itself.
Seafood
A dining establishment in the Smoky Mountains area that primarily offers seafood entrees. Establishments that require an entry fee to any part of the premises are not eligible in this category.
Southern Food
Any restaurant or venue in the Smoky Mountains area that offers food traditionally specific to the southeastern region of the United States. Examples of traditional southern dishes include but are not limited to: fried chicken, catfish, crawfish, biscuits and gravy, shrimp and grits, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, collard greens, chicken and dumplings, fried green tomatoes, hush puppies, fried pickles, banana pudding, and peach cobbler.
Restaurants in this category might offer family style meals and/or casual, come-as-you-are atmospheres. Seafood restaurants, barbecue restaurants, and restaurants serving "traditional American" cuisine do not necessarily qualify. Restaurants at Dollywood are excluded from this category. Dinner shows are excluded from this category. Establishments that require an entry fee to any part of the premises are not eligible in this category.
Specialty Cocktails
A dining establishment or bar in the Smoky Mountains area that serves specialty alcoholic beverages with propriety recipes. A cocktail is defined as an alcoholic drink consisting of a spirit or several spirits mixed with other ingredients, such as fruit juice, lemonade, or cream. Flavored moonshine, distilled spirits, ciders, and spiked dessert items do not necessarily qualify as cocktails. Places of business that only offer contained alcoholic beverages for sale do not qualify. Establishments that require an entry fee to any part of the premises are not eligible in this category.
Steak
Any restaurant or venue in the Smoky Mountains area that offers beef steak as an entree. Establishments that require an entry fee to any part of the premises are not eligible in this category.
Sweets Shop
A retail shop in the Smoky Mountains area that primarily specializes in candy and confectionery items. Eligible businesses focus on products such as chocolates, fudge, taffy, gummies, hard candies, novelty sweets, and other sugar-based treats, including both modern candy stores and traditional confection shops. Sweets and confections must represent the primary focus of the business, with the majority of products falling within this category.
Shops should offer a dedicated retail experience centered around candy and similar treats, whether pre-packaged, house-made, or sold by weight. Businesses that qualify for the Gift Shop, General Store, Baked Goods, or Ice Cream categories are not necessarily eligible. Full-service restaurants, grocery stores, and general retail locations that sell candy as a secondary offering do not necessarily qualify. Establishments that require an entry fee to access the premises are not eligible.
Winery
Any winery in the Smoky Mountains area. Hard cider is allowed in this category, as the creation process consists of fermenting fruit. Establishments that require an entry fee to any part of the premises are not eligible in this category.
Wings
A dining establishment in the Smoky Mountains area offering cooked chicken wings. Establishments that require an entry fee to any part of the premises are not eligible in this category.
Lodging
New!Boutique Hotel
A smaller, more intimate hotel setting that offers a distinctive, design-focused lodging experience characterized by a smaller scale, unique aesthetic, and/or personalized service. Property features that automatically exclude businesses from this category include: more than 140 rooms, exclusively cabin or cottage-style lodging options, and the use of "motel" and/or "motor lodge" in the business name. Qualifiers for the Resort category are excluded from the category.
The establishment must offer hotel-style lodging (see Hotel category) in addition to two (2) out of the following four (4) on-site amenities: a restaurant, bar, or bed-and-breakfast-like dining opportunity; a cohesive, distinctive, design-focused theme or aesthetic and/or a historic, renovated property; spa services; and dedicated space for recreational activity including but not limited to tennis/pickleball courts, walking trails, etc.
Cabin Rentals
A cabin rental company located within Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Sevierville, and the general Smoky Mountains area. This category excludes Dollywood cabins. Camping cabins do not necessarily qualify. Rental inventory must be comprised of at least 51% cabins, with some exceptions for property management companies. VRBO and Airbnb are excluded from this category.
Campground
Any privately owned campground or campground franchise located within Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Sevierville, and the general Smoky Mountains area. Back and frontcountry camps located within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park are not accepted.
Condos
A condominium complex or property management company located within Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Sevierville, and the general Smoky Mountains area. Examples of features that define condos include but are not limited to: units with full kitchens, units with multiple rooms and beds, and lack of daily housekeeping or large on-site staff facilitating unit rentals. Single units within condo complexes are not accepted. Rental inventory must be comprised of at least 51% condominium units, with some exceptions for property management companies. Townhouse-style lodging may qualify for this category.
New!Free Breakfast
A lodging establishment that offers complimentary breakfast to its registered guests. Bed & breakfast businesses are excluded from this category.
Hotel
A hotel located within Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Sevierville, and the general Smoky Mountains area. A hotel is defined as a place that provides patrons with private lodging and sleeping accommodations on a per-night basis. Rental inventory must be comprised of at least 51% hotel rooms/units. Dollywood resorts are excluded from this category.
Other features that define hotels include but are not limited to: private single-room accommodations under one roof or within one or several building structures, daily housekeeping services per room, lack of full kitchens within single room units, and lobbies staffed with receptionists and other workers who can facilitate on-site room rentals. Examples of lodging that do not qualify for this category: log cabins, treehouses, cottages, resort communities, and campgrounds.
Luxury Camping
A campground in the Smoky Mountains area that offers elevated camping experiences through non-primitive lodging options designed to retain a connection to the outdoors. Eligible properties must include lodging options beyond RV hookups and primitive tent sites. Single recreational vehicles and vehicle rental companies do not qualify.
These accommodations include but are not limited to: glamping/luxury tents, yurts, camping cabins and tiny homes that are purpose-built for short-term stays. Campgrounds that qualify must have more than three (3) of said accommodations available. These units should reflect a camping-oriented design (compact, often single-room or studio-style layouts) and maintain a clear emphasis on the camping experience, even in its most luxurious form. Campgrounds with traditional vacation cabins, full-size cottages, or rental homes do not necessarily qualify.
Poolside Retreat
A hotel, condo complex or campground that offers an on-site poolscape (an area dominated by a pool) available for use of registered guests. This poolscape may or may not include any of the features that define a water park (see definition of water park). Cabin rentals and cabin rental companies are excluded from this category.
Resort
Any resort located in the general Smoky Mountains area. The resort must offer hotel-style lodging or private cottage-style accommodations in a completely walkable setting in addition to two (2) out of the following four (4) on-site amenities: a restaurant or concessions, dedicated event space, spa services, and recreational activity grounds such as a water park (see Water Park category), pickleball/tennis courts, walking trails, arcade, bowling alley, or golf course. Cabin rental communities are excluded from this category. Campgrounds and RV resorts are excluded from this category unless they also include hotel style lodging. Dollywood resorts are excluded from this category.
RV Resort
A campground in the Smoky Mountains area that offers locations for recreational vehicle hookups and amenities such as swimming pools or other recreational areas.
Small Cabin Company
Any cabin rental business in the Smoky Mountains area whose inventory of local cabin rentals consists of more than one (1) and a maximum of fifteen (15) properties available for booking at the start of the nomination process. Rental inventory must be composed of at least 51% cabins. This category is primarily intended to highlight property management businesses. Campgrounds are not eligible for this category.
New!Tent Camping
Any privately owned campground or campground franchise that offers primitive camping and/or tent camping sites and is located within Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Sevierville, and the general Smoky Mountains area. The focus of this category is campgrounds whose lodging experience primarily consists of tent camping. Back and frontcountry camps located within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park are not accepted. Campgrounds that also offer hotel-style and/or luxury camping facilities do not necessarily qualify.
Shops & Services
Adventure Rentals
A business that rents out vehicles to licensed drivers for unsupervised use. Such vehicles include but are not limited to side by sides, ATVs, UTVs, Polaris Slingshots, and Jeeps. Mobility scooter rentals are not eligible. Guided tours are excluded from this category.
Antique Store
A retail store in the Smoky Mountains area specializing in the sale of a variety of different kinds of antiques. Gift shops or retail stores within larger attractions do not necessarily qualify. Establishments that require an entry fee to any part of the premises are not eligible in this category.
Artisan
A business or individual located in the Smoky Mountains area that produces and sells handcrafted, non-edible goods. Eligible artisan products must be made primarily by hand and may include items such as pottery, woodwork, candles, jewelry, leather goods, glassware, textiles, and other decorative or functional crafts.
Artists must sell their own original creations either through a storefront, studio, or market presence. Mass-produced items, imported goods, and third-party retail shops are not eligible in this category. Food artisans (including candy makers, bakers, distilleries, etc.) and performing artists (including musicians, actors, or street performers) are excluded from this category.
Boutique
A small shop in the Smoky Mountains area specializing in the sale of fashionable apparel and accessories. Boutique must have a physical location. Establishments that require an entry fee to any part of the premises are not eligible in this category.
Catering
A business in the Smoky Mountains area that offers the provision of food and drink at an event or gathering as a professional service.
Clothing Store
A shop in the Smoky Mountains area that primarily offers the sale of clothing. Shop inventory must consist of at least 51% clothing & apparel. Qualifiers for the Boutique category are not necessarily eligible here. Establishments that require an entry fee to any part of the premises are not eligible in this category.
Event Space
A business in the Smoky Mountains area that provides a dedicated and rentable space specifically designed or commonly used for hosting organized events. Eligible venues may include indoor or outdoor spaces suited for receptions, corporate gatherings, reunions, parties, or similar functions. If the business is marketed and specifically suited to function as a wedding venue, it will be placed in the Wedding Venue category. The purpose of this category is to highlight businesses with event space suited for a variety of functions beyond weddings.
Attractions or entertainment-based businesses qualify if they offer a clearly defined event package or space rental apart from their regular admission or activities. This offering must be marketed as a distinct service, with an established price point for private events or group gatherings.
General Store
A shop in the Smoky Mountains area that specializes in the sale of a wide variety of goods. Establishments that require an entry fee to any part of the premises are not eligible in this category.
New!Gift Shop
A retail business that offers a curated selection of souvenir and novelty items intended for visitors. Eligible shops may include standalone stores or dedicated retail spaces within a lodging property or attraction, provided they feature branded merchandise, locally themed goods, or travel-oriented keepsakes. These shops should emphasize items such as apparel, collectibles, home décor, specialty foods, or other memorabilia that reflect the local area or visitor experience.
General retail stores without a clear focus on souvenirs or branded merchandise are not eligible. On-site gift shops affiliated with attractions or accommodations must operate as a distinct retail space and offer merchandise beyond basic convenience items.
New Business
Any business that opened to the public in the Smoky Mountains area for the first time between January 1, 2025 and June 1, 2026. Winners in this category from previous years will always be excluded. Businesses must have an active EIN or tax ID number. Businesses that have changed their location or ownership but were previously located in the area do not qualify. New additions to large attractions do not qualify. Cabin rental companies are excluded from this category.
Smoke Shop
A shop in the Smoky Mountains area that primarily offers the sale of smokable products (including but not limited to cigars and other tobacco products as well as legal THC and CBD) and smoking and vaping equipment. Establishments that require an entry fee to any part of the premises are not eligible in this category.
Spa
An establishment in the Smoky Mountains area that offers massages, relaxation treatments, and/or beauty services. Dollywood spas are excluded from this category.
Specialty Shop
Any business in the Smoky Mountains area whose primary source of revenue is based on selling goods of a specific category. Clothing stores, antique stores, tattoo shops, smoke shops, sweets shops and qualifiers for Baked Goods and Ice Cream are excluded from this category. Establishments that require an entry fee to any part of the premises are not eligible in this category.
Tattoo Shop
An establishment in the Smoky Mountains area where tattoo artists offer their services.
Wedding Venue
A business in the Smoky Mountains area that primarily serves as a wedding venue or provides a dedicated, rentable space specifically suited for hosting wedding ceremonies, receptions, or both. This offering must be marketed as a distinct service with an established price point and must include or accommodate key elements typical of a wedding event. General-use event spaces or businesses where a wedding could occur incidentally - but is not a central or marketed focus - are not necessarily eligible.
