A Walk In The Woods

I went out for the Thundering Cascades and Falls hike with Deborah on Wednesday, May 20th and she was amazing! So knowledgeable and took great care of me and our whole group. I loved it so much that I booked the all day Old Growth Waterfall tour today. My GPS took me, what felt like around the world to get there, which resulted in my being a little late, but the staff was wonderful when I called the office (and so patient!) and helped me get back on track. My guide today, Andy, was also wonderful. He shared so many wonderful insights about the trees, foliage, history of the park and the wildlife we saw. We had the best day! Both tours were worth every penny and I had the best time! I may not be able to walk tomorrow, but the memories I have will be treasured for a long time. Thank you both so very much!

We had an amazing experience hiking in the Smoky Mountains with Mike as our guide! From the very beginning, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel comfortable. He shared so much interesting information about the area, pointed out things we would have completely missed on our own, and made the hike both fun and memorable.

Mike was patient, encouraging, and made sure everyone in our group was able to enjoy the trail at their own pace. The views were absolutely beautiful, and his love for the Smokies really showed throughout the entire hike.
