CLIMB Works Smoky Mountains

We had an incredible experience at Climb Works in Gatlinburg! Our guides, Maya, Austin, and Josh, were absolutely fantastic. They were knowledgeable, professional, and kept the entire group laughing with their great sense of humor. They did an excellent job helping guests who were a little nervous feel comfortable and confident throughout the course.

The views from the zip lines were spectacular, and it was clear that safety is a top priority. The equipment was in excellent condition, and the guides took the time to thoroughly explain everything, reinforcing confidence every step of the way.

There are six zip lines, and on several of them you’re encouraged to challenge yourself by letting go with one or both hands or striking a fun pose for the camera. It added an extra level of excitement and made the experience even more memorable.

Maya, thanks for the unforgettable experience. And yes, the Titanic sank! Josh and Austin, we’ll definitely buy your calendar. 😄

Wow! What an exciting and thrilling experience for my first time ziplining with Climb Works! Our group of four arrived at 9:20 for our 10:00 appt. They check you in and weigh you, then you’ll have to wait until your appt time to get geared up. They have free small lockers outside where you can keep your phone, keys, etc. We had a 10-15 min ride up the mountain in an ATV, then climbed upstairs to the first zipline. There are 6 ziplines total. On one of the turns, they allow you to do cool tricks like go upside down which was my favorite part! On the last zipline, you have to jump and “repel” down to the ground (not actually repelling-more like falling gracefully). Chase, James, and Grace were amazing tour guides and answered any questions we had along the way. They were super friendly and made us feel safe and welcome, even remembering all of our names (some of which were complicated) during each zipline turn.

Definitely book in advance with pictures included (some attached to this review) that way you can get them discounted. They were good quality and showed off the views well. They also allowed you to wear a fanny pack while ziplining if you want to take your phone or other small items with you.

One thing I would change is if they could have water at each zipline instead of just 2 or 3 of them- we went on an extremely hot day so water was a must.

Overall, my group had a wonderful time and experience with Climb Works. It was definitely worth the money and a memory we will cherish for a lifetime! Thank you, Climb Works!

What an incredible experience for our whole family. We took our kids ages 5, 7, and 12 and we all loved it. Our guides Ivy, Chase, and James were fun, yet safe and serious when it came to their job. We’ve zip lined before and it was nothing like this. The zip lines were long and the views were unbelievable. A special bonus was the awesome UTV ride up the mountain to the start.

I’d recommended the photo package as there are several opportunities where great shots are taken. Even though we brought a phone, I was glad to have the photos they took along the way. If you’re contemplating taking a young kiddo, just consider their temperament. If they are brave or a daredevil, they’ll love it. Ours did. He was just tired at the end because it’s a lot of walking and stairs and the gear becomes heavy.
