We enjoyed our weekend here, the indoor pool was heated and fairly shallow for our daughter, which we loved. The rooms were clean and the lobby and grounds were nice. I loved the view out front, facing River Rd and the mountains. It was walking distance to everything we wanted to see on “the strip” and even walking distance to the Gatlinburg trail. We passed several hotels/motels to and from ours, one of which had an open pool by the strip, so we were happy with our choice. Also the lady taking care of us at breakfast was the absolute best. I’d stay here again.

Brina with the front desk was excellent at her job and made sure we had everything for our stay. She is a big joy and glad to have met her on our trip. The housekeeping staff was very hardworking and the every day service was a great perk to have.

Last minute, we decided to spend one evening in Gatlinburg after 30 years absence. We visited the town often in the 80's and 90's, but not since then. This hotel is "new" to us.

We arrived late and left after breakfast. We got a great room with a fireplace, but did not use it. Our view of the mountains the next morning was stunningly beautiful-even though we were at the back of the hotel overlooking the parking lot. No complaints there. The lobby is inviting and comfortable on a cold, rainy November evening. Morning breakfast looks great, but we decided to visit our old haunt, the pancake house.

The hotel is within walking distance of most everything in Gatlinburg. Pet fee was $75.

With the crushing traffic and crowds now in Gatlinburg, it is likely we will never return, but this hotel was a welcome "port in the storm" after driving 1,500+ miles on a cold and rainy November evening.
