Welcome to Riverside Motor Lodge, a family-owned and operated gem in the heart of Pigeon Forge, proudly carrying on the legacy of the late Jerry Ogle. Jerry's journey began as a pharmacist, owning and managing Gatlinburg Drug Store in the late 1960s. By the 1970s, he purchased the original Riverside Motor Lodge in Gatlinburg. His ultimate dream came true in the late 1980s when he designed and built this very lodge in Pigeon Forge.

We offer a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels more like home than a modern high-rise hotel. If you're looking for sleek contemporary accommodations, we may not be the place for you—but if you value family-friendly comfort and personal touches, you'll love it here.

Now operated by Jerry's daughter and four of his grandchildren, Riverside Motor Lodge remains a place where guests become family. You might even spot his great-grandchildren eagerly handing out pool towels!

I've had the pleasure of traveling during my lifetime, and recently my husband and I spent three nights at Riverside Motor Lodge in Pigeon Forge, TN. Usually towards the end of our vacation, we are ready to return home. But not this time! The property is older but very well maintained, and very clean! It is family owned and operated. The family takes great pride in making sure their guests are comfortable. They are very kind and knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions. There are many lodging options in Pigeon Forge, TN, but hands down THIS is the property for spending your downtime while on vacation! We are already planning our next trip, and rest assured we will be staying at Riverside Motor Lodge!

Our room was nice and clean with a Jacuzzi and fireplace. It had a sink in the bathroom and also one outside the bathroom which we liked. It was well worth the price. I especially loved it because it was a smoke-free room. They had chairs and an ashtray outside the rooms for the smokers. The only bad part was having to walk past the smoke on the way to your room.

Went with some family for the 4th of July. We had 2 - 2 bedroom suites. Comes with a kitchenette also. The room is fantastic, plenty of room and everything you need. We had a little stove, microwave, even pots, pans, dishes, cups, silverware, coffee pot, and a toaster. I mean what else do you need?? They have an inside pool that is heated (3-5 foot). Then an outside pool on the other side of the building, same size!! We stayed in the outside pool, indoor pool was always more crowded! Had the outside pool to ourself off and on, with a few others coming and going. We all loved our stay and don't have a complaint one. We used to stay here years ago - like 15+ years and it was still an awesome place. Also they set the fireworks off right across the road so we literally watched them standing outside our room! I can not recommend this place enough!! All the staff I talked to was friendly
