Sevier County’s one and only chalk festival is back for its 6th year this October at The Island.
The Island in Pigeon Forge features plenty of open concrete space, and what a better way to utilize it than by turning the massive space into a canvas? All professional and aspiring artists alike are invited to create a masterpiece. Chalk and concrete provided. Artist should register for the event ahead of time.
This Year’s Theme: Every year millions of people take adventures across the world to various destinations including our very own Great Smoky Mountains National Park. For this reason, the theme this year is: ADVENTURE.
This can be as broad or specific as the artist likes. Draw a tent by a campfire, a zipline adventure through the Smokies, a surfer on Pacific waves, or a mountain climber summiting Everest. Just picture your dream adventure and bring it to life on the concrete at The Island. The sky is the limit, so head outside and start brainstorming.
