For families looking for a unique event that combines family fun, great kids activities, festive fall decorations, food, mascots and even “horse races,” make plans now to be part of the 14th Annual Whoadeo at Dolly Parton’s Stampede in Pigeon Forge. Admission is FREE
Dolly Parton’s Stampede, Pirates Voyage and Hatfield & McCoy, along with partners Food City and Coke, present this fun-filled event, with activities including costume contests, mascot characters from a variety of area attractions, stick horse competitions, and a free outdoor carnival from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Area attractions as well as law enforcement, fire and rescue partners also are part of this special event, adding to the family atmosphere and offering information in an entertaining way.
Registration for the Whoadeo begins at 8:30 AM. The event is free, but kids must bring a stick horse (homemade or purchased). A limited amount of free stick horses will be available while supplies last. Participating kids get free Stampede admission tickets to the 3:30 show after the event, plus a Kid’s Club backpack from food city (while supplies last), a voucher for a ticket to the Comedy Barn Theater and a one-day child’s ticket to Dollywood (valid for children ages 3-9 years old).
