This week’s Feature Friday is Cabins USA. Offering more than 300 cabins, in some of the best locations that Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg offer, your family will not leave without saying, “There’s no place like a cabin in the Smokies.” A special thank you to Chris Lacey, executive assistant at Cabins USA, for answering the following questions about Cabins USA.
1.) Cabins USA has the perfect Smoky Mountain Cabins in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Tell me a little history about Cabins USA and how long you have been around?
Cabins USA first opened its doors in 2004 as a small cabin rental company with the simple plan to offer luxury cabins, at an affordable price, while maintaining the highest standard of customer service in the Smokies. Spurred by our success Cabins USA opened a second reservation office in Gatlinburg in 2006 and expanded to over 300 cabins between the two locations. By sticking with our founding principles, Cabins USA has grown to become an industry leader in the Great Smoky Mountains.
2.) What does Cabins USA offer that other cabins in the area may not?
Cabins USA offers unparalleled value in an industry where value is hard to find. Because of our size and experience we are able to give lodging customers the most for their money without having to compromise on amenities they would miss out on with other lodging providers. Our customer service is second-to-none, and we keep longer business hours to enable our customers the ability to check in late without the worry of time constraints.
3.) What do your guest at Cabins USA seem to love the most about their cabin stay?
We are typically praised most for the cleanliness of our cabins. The backbone of our operation isn’t fixing customer issues, its maintaining and inspecting our cabins and fixing any issues before our customers even open the door. We also get complements for our user-friendly website, www.cabinsusa.com; our booking engine offers our guests the ability to book a cabin seamlessly without any complicated steps or forms.
4.) Smoky Mountain visitors love to see black bears, has any of your guest encountered bears at their cabins?
On any given day we get several reports and pictures of encounters with black bears. It has become one of the highlights of our guest’s stay and could even be included on a dozen of the cabins as an amenity. We love our black bears and instruct our guests, in their check in packet, what to expect from a black bear encounter, and what to do in the event they do encounter one.
5.) Pigeon Forge host many parades and festivals throughout the year. What is your absolute favorite?
Our favorite event is the Patriot Festival, in Patriot Park, that is held on the Fourth of July. With music attractions, fireworks, and vendors everywhere, this annual event lights up Pigeon Forge unlike any other. It makes us proud to be able to be a part of such a special area during one of the most memorable dates in our Country’s history. Pigeon Forge in early July is truly an amazing destination everyone should try at least once.
