Trail Description Written by Caroline Sullivan

Twentymile Loop trail is a moderate 2.9 mile trail connecting Twentymile trail to Wolf Ridge trail. It is most commonly used in combination with the latter two trails to create a nice day loop hike.

It should be noted that some editions of the "little brown book" Hiking Trails of the Smokies mention a couple of dangerous unbridged water crossings on Twentymile Loop trail. All of the water crossings now have footbridges.
