The National Quartet Convention is one of the biggest annual events in Southern Gospel Music. NQC brings thousands of folks and some familiar gospel acts to the Pigeon Forge Parkway for a solid week of concerts, events and more!
About The Convention
The National Quartet Convention brings over 40,000 people from around the world to Pigeon Forge each fall. NQC began in in 1957 and was held in Louisville Kentucky until 2014, when it moved to the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge. Throughout the week, guests can enjoy performances from many famous names in gospel music.

In addition to attending the many performances throughout the week, NQC attendees have plenty of other events and activities to look forward to. Visitors in town for the convention can expect to spend their days perusing booths representing musical artists, record labels, CD duplication plants, media entities, booking agents, Christian bookstores and other industry related organizations in the LeConte Center’s exhibit hall during the day.
