Christmas At The Courthouse

Every year during the first full weekend of December, Downtown Sevierville hosts a whole bunch of holiday merriment. Head on down to the county courthouse for photos with Santa plus an old-fashioned tree lighting event with kids crafts, holiday snacks, and festive music to get you in the holiday spirit.

The Island

Select Dates from Nov 21 - through Dec 19, 2026

The Island’s kickoff tree lighting event will give kids the opportunity to take photos with Santa starting at 5:00 pm. There will also be select dates in November and December where you can visit Santa near the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel.

The Christmas Place

Throughout the holiday season you can visit The Incredible Christmas Place and find Santa’s Haus in the main store. This is a beautifully set up location, great for family photos to use on holiday cards. Find dates and times and sign up online on the Santa’s Haus website.

The Mountain Mile

Find Santa Claus roaming around the lawn at The Mountain Mile Tower & Shops on Teaster Lane on select dates. Starting on Black Friday and through the remainder of December, the Christmas Market at The Mountain Mile takes place on Fridays and Saturdays. Be sure to take advantage of the photo op in front of the jumbo ornament lights.

Anakeesta: Breakfast With Santa

Select Dates from Dec 5- through 20, 2026 • 7:45 am - 9:30 am

Santa & Mrs. Claus will visit Anakeesta for breakfast on select dates in November & December. Purchase tickets in advance to receive early access to the park and start the day at Cliff Top with breakfast, Christmas caroling, and a professional photo with Santa Claus.

Polar Express Train Ride

November 6 - through December 31, 2026

If you’re up for a Smoky Mountain trip slightly outside of East Tennessee, go for a ride on The Polar Express with the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad from Bryson City, NC. Trains set out on the excursion on select dates through the majority of November & December. Kids will be delighted upon arrival to the North Pole, where Santa boards the train to greet them.

Western Wonderland at Stages West

Kick up your boots and head to Stages West for a holiday celebration. Enjoy hot cocoa and coffee, visit with Santa, festive face painting, live holiday music with Willow Osborne, a gift with purchase and more!

Soaky Mountain

As part of the annual Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland event, Soaky Mountain Waterpark is hosting a special holiday village featuring bounce houses, kids activities, carnival games and more. On select nights in November in December, you can take photos with Santa.

Mingle & Jingle with Kris Kringle

Kick off the holiday season with a magical morning for little ones and their families. Enjoy a private meet and greet with Santa along with photos, sing alongs, holiday crafts, movies, and a festive tram ride with his helpers. Every child receives a special gift from Santa, with optional add ons like Snow Tubing and the Fun Pass available to make the day even more memorable.
