Dick’s Last Resort Trivia Night "Test yer knowledge, sucker!" at Dick's Last Resort Pigeon Forge's all new trivia night taking place every Sunday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. This fun new weekly event featuring "crappy hour" specials is sure to bring a little extra fun and competition to the Island in Pigeon Forge. Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Adventure Scheduled to open in early May at Walden’s Landing, Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud will be the first permanent outdoor lumberjack show venue in the state of Tennessee. The high energy show will feature lumberjacks from all over the nation competing in challenging events, and the area will also include a multi-level lumberjack-themed adventure park for guests to enjoy. New Exhibit at Alcatraz East "It Happened Here" will bring together objects from the museum's collections to tell Tennessee crime stories. This year is the 50th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in Memphis and the exhibit will feature items that belonged to assassin James Earl Ray. It will also feature crime stories local to Sevier County, such as the Perry Camp Murders, and the story of Kenneth Jones. TopJump Fire & Ice Ninja Course Head on over to TopJump Trampoline & Extreme Arena on Saturdays to compete in their weekly Fire & Ice Ninja Course Challenge! Every Saturday they will select the ninja with the fastest time, and the winner will receive a year pass to TopJump, plus a chance to compete in the Ultimate Ninja Course Challenge happening May 11, 2019! Pigeon Forge Snow Year-round indoor snow tubing is here! Pigeon Forge Snow is the first indoor snow facility in the entire United States that will offer REAL snow all year long. Come enjoy snowball fights, snow men, snow cones, and most importantly 15 lanes of snow tubing. Gatlinburg Brewing Company The brand new Gatlinburg Brewing Company is a locally owned brewery, in the heart of Gatlinburg, located inside Bub's Burger Barn on Hwy 321. Specializing in craft beer, brewed right on site. River Walk Crossing The newest shopping center in Pigeon Forge will occupy 14 acres between Teaster Lane and the Little Pigeon River, across Jake Thomas Boulevard from the LeConte Event Center. It will include a Food City as well as another large retail tenant. Mountain Monster KNOX NEWS: The former Belz Mall in Pigeon Forge may soon be home to a 200-foot monster. A first-of-its-kind thrill ride is planned for the vacant mall at 2655 Teaster Lane, centerpiece of a retail and entertainment complex. And the renovated mall itself is the first phase of a major development, covering 169 acres, dubbed the Mountain Mile. The Mountain Mile The Mountain Mile & Tower Shops is an unprecedented development project which will completely reshape the retail, restaurant, lodging, and attraction scene of Pigeon Forge and the region. With over 1 mile of road frontage and 174+ acres in total, this will be a project of national significance. Construction has now begun on the Mountain Monster, featuring three rides from a 200-foot tower. Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Grand opening March 16! Ole Red Gatlinburg With a planned opening in spring 2019, Ole Red Gatlinburg will be a $9 million, multi-level 16,000-square-foot entertainment venue with a two-story bar and restaurant, retail area, performance space, dance floor and exterior terrace. Its chef-driven, Blake Shelton-inspired menu will feature a few Nashville classics like Hot Chicken & Waffles as well as BBQ, burgers and additional Southern favorites. Lil Big Britches Brewing Lil Big Britches Brewing is dedicated to delivering a unique experience of multicultural beer and food. They offer a very clean and relaxing family environment for you to enjoy their selection of craft and domestic beers along with their homemade appetizers and meals. Yee-Haw Brewing Company Yee-Haw Brewing Company is coming to the Island in Pigeon Forge! The new addition will bring its southern beer, ales and lagers to the Pigeon Forge area! Under Canvas Gatlinburg Under Canvas is the ultimate outdoor "glamping" experience. With convenient access to over 800 sq. miles of pristine mountain views, you will find yourself immersed in the sounds of nature just minutes away from America's most visited national park. Coming in August 2018. Mt. Ton Of Fun The Mt. Ton of Fun Inclusive Playground has something for everyone! National Enquirer Attraction The city planning commission has approved the plans for The National Enquirer Museum to be built right across from the Titanic Museum. The 17,760 square foot building would have visitors "entering through a camera lens", and features what looks like another building that's fallen on top of it. Among the plans for the attraction is an interactive exhibit that will allow visitors to create their own Enquirer-style headlines and share them on social media.
