SkyLand Ranch opened in November 2022 and won best new business for 2023. It's a wonderful place to spend the day with family or any group of people. The ranch is located at the heart of Sevierville at 1620 Parkway. Hours of operation are 10:00 am to 10:00 pm Sunday through Thursday, and 10:00 am to 11:00 pm on Friday and Saturday.

General admission to SkyLand Ranch is offered in three tiers (good, better, and best) with all guaranteeing three days of access to the park. What your fun-filled day at SkyLand looks like is completely up to you, but here are some ideas to get you started!

Hop On The Horizon Skyride

Let your excitement build for the day ahead with a scenic ride to the top of SkyLand Ranch on The Horizon Skyride. This chairlift fits up to three guests and offers gorgeous views of the Ranch grounds, roaming farm animals, and surrounding Smoky Mountains as you make your way up from the ground level of SkyLand Ranch. If you're afraid of heights, however, you can rely on the shuttle bus to take you back and forth.

Wild Stallion Mountain Coaster

SkyLand Ranch is home to the Southeast's longest mountain coaster: The Wild Stallion. The 1.25-mile coaster ride spans 8+ minutes and is open through the evening, so you can choose whether you want to ride in the sunshine or while the city lights pierce the night sky. The speed at which you soar is entirely up to you and can be controlled with levers. That said, you'll want to make sure your most adventurous rider is at the front and the more cautious ones are toward the back!

Meet The Ranch Animals

There's no shortage of farm animals to see and interact with at SkyLand Ranch. You'll find goats grazing pastures, pigs and bunnies basking in the sun, and miniature animals including horses, donkeys, and cows throughout the ranch. You can even purchase a mini photo session that allows you to snuggle a miniature highland cow and take home a portfolio of pictures!

The Safari Hayride

Adding the Safari Hayride adventure onto your general admission lets you take a ride through the ranch in a covered wagon pulled by a John Deere tractor. During the ride, you'll learn a little bit about the ranch's history and the animals that live there. At three different stops, you'll have the opportunity to hand-feed, pet, and photograph animals such as alpacas, sheep, donkeys, goats, sika and fallow deer, and cattle including longhorns, highlands, and zebu.

Legacy Lookout

The 360-degree views of the Smoky Mountains will take your breath away as you stroll through Legacy Lookout. Along your walk 350 feet above the Parkway, you'll come across plaques containing information about the history of Sevier County, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and the Five Oaks Farm (the property on which SkyLand Ranch is located). Legacy Lookout is a great place to unwind and learn something new at the same time.

Enjoy Live Entertainment

At the center of SkyLand Ranch is an event venue that hosts live entertainment throughout the day. Listen to music from Gary "Biscuit" Davis, a world-class musician and banjo expert who played for Dolly Parton for more than 20 years, as well as Monroeville, a band fronted by Grammy-nominated Matt Munsey. Additional events you can attend include presentations with miniature animals, Wild West performances, and magic shows.

Dine At The Food Barn

The endless food options at SkyLand Ranch are enough to make you want to keep coming back again and again. Three food trucks can be found in The Backyard, located behind the event venue. Those with a sweet tooth can find delicious cupcakes, pies, cheesecakes and more at the SkyLand Cafe & Bakery. There, you'll also find sandwiches, soups, salads, and made-from-scratch pizzas. The beverage menu includes everything from coffee to milkshakes to specialty summer drinks.

At Williford Mercantile, you can purchase boutique clothing and accessories, as well as traditional Western wear. Browse unique home decor and bring a piece of SkyLand Ranch back to the house with you. Kids will be happy to find tons of different toys, including plushies of their favorite farm animals they met at the ranch! On your way out of the ranch, stop by The General Store for snacks and other last-minute souvenirs.

Friday nights are about to get a whole lot wilder in July! SkyLand's Wild West Music Fest will feature a popular country music artist every Friday evening throughout the month, with Monroeville Band opening each night. Performing artists include Noah Hicks, Graham Barham, Kelsey Hart, and Walker Montogomery. Tickets are available in bronze, silver and gold packages and are sold separate from general admission.

SkyLand Ranch has a new dinner show running on select nights through August. The Chuckwagon Supper at the Ranch transports guests back to the Wild West by immersing them in cowboy culture complete with a BBQ-style dinner. Entertainment includes acrobatics, gun spinning, award-winning musicians, and much more. Be sure to book your reservation before it's too late!
