The Titanic Thanksgiving fireworks display is a Pigeon Forge holiday tradition. This year's fantastic display of lights and holiday cheer will be revamped with a special twist featuring the exciting addition of a parade of superheroes that will kick off the event.
Titanic Thanksgiving Fireworks
The season will start with an explosion of lights and colors on Thanksgiving Day, November 22, 2018. The Titanic Museum Attraction celebrates the lives and legacies of the famous ship’s passengers, crew and rescuers with an extravaganza of fireworks. This twinkling demonstration of light and fantasy will begin at 7:00 p.m., and is a perfect way to end a day filled with family and food!
This year, Batman, Wonder Woman, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Nightwing, Spider-Man - Marvel and DC Comic superhero favorites - will lead a spectacular Thanksgiving night parade outside our Pigeon Forge ship. They’ll be here to delight and entertain fans AND to light the fuse that will sets-off this year’s dazzling fireworks display. While superheroes are purely fictional characters, I remind our young visitors that there were real, live heroes on Titanic – women and men who saved lives at the risk of their own. I share with them – I believe there’s a superhero in all of us, ready to save the day when the time comes.Mary Kellogg, President, COO & Co-Owner
Shooting Stars & Superheroes
The twist to this year's annual celebration includes comic book pop culture superheroes headlining as the superstars in a night time parade at the Titanic Museum Attraction. The parade kicks off at 7:00 pm with the firework show to follow immediately after. Attendees are encouraged to come dressed as superheros. Parking is free, and you can purchase tickets ahead of time for admission into the museum.
This fantastic night-of-nights will be orchestrated to the sounds and voices of the Christmas season, with the ship’s crew on board to host the event and to welcome all the ladies and gentlemen and boys and girls in attendance. This special night heralds the arrival of a new holiday season of Thanksgiving in Pigeon Forge, and throughout the evening the lives and legacies of all those who sailed on the RMS Titanic will be honored & glorified.
