UTV Tours
Experience off-roading like never before on a 90-minute guided UTV tour. Choose from three different vehicles to help you navigate dirt trails deep in the forest. Depending on which UTV you select, it can sit two, four or six riders. You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license to operate the UTV on your own. Buckle up and get ready to explore a handful of trails all at your own speed!
Rent A Bike Or Bring Your Own
No worries if you don’t have your own mountain bike to bring with you — you can rent one at WildSide’s BaseCamp. Choose from a manual or electric-assisted bike and get it adjusted to your exact liking. Once you’re all ready to go, head up the mountain yourself or take a ride on the bike shuttle. Eight miles of biking trails with an elevation gain of up to 600 feet await your exploration!
Beginner Trails
There are 7 beginner biking trails at WildSide. They range from .39 miles to 1.22 miles and are perfect for riders of all experience levels. Warm up on the Rod Run, a flat and smooth trail that’s both family-friendly and dog-friendly. The Creek Climb climbing trail will get your blood pumping up the mountain alongside a scenic creek. Then, you can let it all loose as fast as you want on the Chicken of the Woods, WildSide’s longest downhill trail.
Intermediate Trails
Intermediate trails are suited for bikers with some prior mountain biking experience. They offer a more technical ride with more challenging features such as jump lines, tight turns, and stacked berms (mounds of soil and dirt). There are three intermediate trails available: Rattler Ridge, Very Gneiss and Trillium. Intermediate trails are a great place to show off some of your best tricks and really build on your mountain biking skills.
Advanced Trails
Whip-or-Will and Dolly’s Curves are the two advanced trails at WildSide. They are best suited for riders with extensive mountain biking experience. Whip-or-Will takes riders flying down a steep 300-foot descent with large jumps and stacked berms. From BaseCamp, you can watch riders take on the huge hipped jumps and sequence of berms of Dolly’s Curves. Professional riders are certainly in for an adrenaline rush on these high-difficulty trails.
Jump Track
The various ramps and drops of jump lines are a great way to get used to being airborne on a bike. There are three lines at the Jump Track for each skill level. The baby bear has roll-offs and small rock jumps suited for beginners. The mama bear is a little more challenging, featuring a short bridge and flatter landing for intermediate riders. The papa bear is the most advanced jump line with steep jumps and landings and the tallest bridge in the park.
Dual Slalom Course
Up for a little friendly competition? Head over to WildSide’s dual slalom course for a side-by-side race against other riders. The course includes various trail features, which also makes it a great place to practice before trying out the actual biking trails. Whether you’re looking to challenge your friend or get more comfortable with the features of mountain biking, the dual slalom course is a special feature you don’t want to miss at WildSide.
