Pigeon Forge comes to life with twinkling lights and delightful displays each year during Winterfest. The 2023 holiday spectacular, which kicks off on November 9th, will be brighter and bolder than ever thanks to the Winterfest Wonders of Light Walking Trail. The City of Pigeon Forge made a $1.5 million investment to bring the Winterfest Wonders of Light Walking Trail to life -- the largest investment made since the festival began in 1989. This addition extends the celebration off the Parkway and along the Riverwalk Nature Trail.
The Winterfest Wonders of Light Walking Trail will feature more than 20 displays with more than one million glittering LED lights. Imagine strolling under gleaming arches, seeing oversize flowers shine, and even meeting Old Man Winter himself! You'll also see snowflakes dance to holiday music and mountain creatures like bears, squirrels, deer, and frogs come to life in lights. It's a Smoky Mountain dream come true!
