My stay was very pleasant! The cabin was clean and spacious. My family and I enjoyed it. The downstairs was a little bit chilly even with the fireplace but nothing you can't tolerate. This was my second stay with Elk Springs Resort and I will be booking with them again in the near future.

Brought my wife and two young daughters (1y and 4y). Great house, very clean, and we enjoyed every inch of it. My oldest daughter said it was the “best vacation ever!”

We decided to book this cabin at the last second. Elks Springs staff was great by calling us almost immediately after we booked online to give us all of the details on checking in. The cabin wasn’t ready right away (but for being a last minute booking I feel that expected and didn’t end up being an inconvenience for us). Once we arrived we felt the cabin was perfect for our large family! We were able to spread out and relax! The kids enjoyed the game room and theater system! We ran into a personal issue causing us to not be able to check out on time and Elks Springs was fantastic about extending our check out time for us. Overall we had a an excellent stay here!!!

Bear Cub Lodge was the perfect place for the 10 of us. The management group messaged us several times to make sure that everything was going well and to check if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend Bear Cub Lodge and this management company.

I chose this rental for our family spring break vacation and we were not disappointed. There were plenty of things to keep you entertained or occupied while there. Our kids are 11, 9 and 4 and we never heard them say we were bored, instead we head laughter and watched memories being made.
Every vacation has some negatives and disappointments so I’ll share mine. 1, our vacation was too short in this cabin. 2, we didn’t see any bears. Now to nitpick (no impact on our stay) 3, one blind on the main floor didn’t open, but would raise. 4, the score tabs on foosball were broken upon arrival, and the arcade stick for “up” had to be in the right spot. We died a lot.
Now for the positives. 1, the cabin is very spacious cover 3 floors which gives everyone a place to relax. 2. Just far enough from the strip that it is very quiet but also the short drive does not bother you. 3, the communication from the rental company is perfect. They reach out by email or text leading up to you stay, they contacted us 3 times while on our stay with a welcome text, a day or so later with a how is everything text, and the night before leaving with a thank you and instructions text. Perfect, they were not overbearing. If they called I don’t know, we spent most of our time hiking without cell service. 4, they had the hot tub clean and warming up upon our arrival. 5, all beds were comfortable and clean. 6, the pool table, arcade and fooseball table were enjoyable. 7, the theater area was nice to sit and relax while the kids wound down for the night. 8, the kitchen was equipped with everything we would need. Overall great stay. This was our first vacation that my wife has ever said “that was perfect, the only thing I would have changed was just one more day to sit and relax on the porches before the 10 hr drive home.”. If we ever return to Gatlinburg, we would definitely choose to stay with Elk Springs again. W
