Host Policies

Host Cancellation Policy

This local host has a no cancellation policy. Their policy is no refunds and no rescheduling. During winter months road conditions may require that you need a 4-wheel drive (if snow or ice is on the ground). No refunds will be given due to inability to get to cabin due to road conditions or grade of driveway. No shows will forfeit any monies put down. After booking, the host offers a Vacation Guarantee for 7% of your total reservation. This enables you to receive a full refund, less the cost of the guarantee, up to 30 days prior to your arrival for a 1 to 4 bedroom cabin, and up to 60 days prior to arrival for 5 bedrooms and larger. Once inside those time periods, the Vacation Guarantee would allow you to reschedule your stay. This is an optional charge post-booking that you can elect to pay directly to the local host company.

PigeonForge.com Service Fee Cancellation Policy

If you choose to cancel or not use your reservation, the PigeonForge.com Service Fee is always non-refundable.

Pretty cabin - tricky location

The cabin itself is delightful - surprisingly roomy and cosy at the same time. The cast iron tub was a very nice touch. For the price, it was a very good deal. The only downside was the location - mainly due to the roads to it, which I realize is not something you can control. However, it is worth warning guests that once on the Brothers resort, there are narrow, winding, steep roads still to go. We were in a mid-sized car, so not overly wide or long, yet in those road conditions (to be clear - it was a dry, warm evening) it often felt like we would go off the side and down the steep slopes. The last turn into this particular cabin rental is hair-pin and steep. The road down and back out from the rental - steep. Twice a day we felt like we were taking our lives into our hands. More road markers all along the route in and perhaps a specific note of the grade % would warn people like us that this is not a good choice. It was genuinely scary. Pity - because the cabin was a darling.

Needs a good cleaning.

The cabin location was perfect. Very secluded. The issue we had; the cleanliness of the cabin. It was very dusty and had a mold/mildew smell. Inside the cabin we have several visitors. These ranges from large ant colonies to spiders, cockroaches and even seen mouse bait traps. The grill was way too small and looks like it rolled down a hill several times. When opening the hot tub there was an unpleasant mold/mildew smell. We wish there was an outdoor fire pit...we thought we found what was one...but was over grown with weeds. The pull out bed was uncomfortable, upgraded mattress would be nice. We arrived for check in 1.5 hours early and thought we might get lucky and get to check in early...after driving 10 hours we could of used would any parent of several small children would agree. They said it wasn't ready, fair enough, I gave them my number and awaited there call. 415pm rolls around and still no call...i drove back there. Asked if my cabin was showed it wasnt...and nobody knew why. It appeared their clean up crew never called to say It was ready. So who knows, it could have very well been ready on my 1st visit. We loved the area, but more than likely won't stay in the same cabin or use the same rental company.

No phone & $100 overcharged

I'm all for a retreat out in the woods to take a relaxing moment to enjoy nature. However, it makes me a little uncomfortable when even the land line is not working... no cell phone service, no texting, no internet... so if you have an emergency here, you're out of luck. Also, when we were leaving, the key box would not go back into place. Instead of just leaving it laying on the front porch (as many would do), we went 25 minutes back to the rental office to make sure they received the keys. There were no instructions on how to operate this box and apparently you had to hit two or three secret buttons to get it to work. We received no information about this. We were told we would have to take this back to the property (which is way out a windy, steep mountain road and way out of our way). We had already come out of our way to return the keys! You're welcome! ... So, we were charged $100 to return the keys to the office - because we received no instructions on how to place the keys back in the box... We will never stay here again.

Nice cabin/Bad Location

The cabin was very nice and comfortable. The only downfall I had was that there was no wifi and we couldn't get any cell phone service. The only we we could get cell phone service was if we walk outside to the little out house. We were vacationing with kids and they couldn't log onto the internet so they could play their playstation. Also, was confused with finding the cabin at first. The directions were horrible. Other than that, the cabin was really nice. Also, there was dirty plate in the kitchen cabinet.

Ok but not practical

Cabin is great, location is awful. Too far from Pigeon Forge, @once you get to the resort it's hard to find and the driveway is hard to describe. We had issues in a 4 wheel drive and a SUV. Also your in a resort but none of the amenities are included. My positive comments are that John was friendly and helpful but the cabin location was awful. Also not only no cell service no WIFI
