This cabin was VERY secluded and did not have a view. We were very disappointed in its location as there were only females in our party and did not feel safe!

This cabin has serious deferred maintenance. I addressed or conderns with photos to Aunt BUGs office staff and was told "we have 162 propertys, we do what we can"!!! Really, that is how customer service works, pffft. Internet was out of service 5 of 6 days and again no bother to fix or address the issue. I cleaned this place myself, what I could with a broke and stinky vacuum and had to wash all bedding after pulling the covers to see pubic hairs from the prior guests--->no excuse for the issues I pointed out, mutiple items were broke and just left in the house, impossible to cook in this kitchen because not a single kitchen tool worked or was clean if there at all. I would not use AUNT BUGS ever again. We will use another rental co. when we go back in 4 months!

We liked the space and location. We were bugged when they would not let our fellow guests check in, claiming that we had failed to complete all "paperwork" required prior to our stay. Throughout this interaction, they were rude and standofffish to us and our family. We regret that they NEVER sent the email requesting our reply, although they did succeed at filling out inbox with all kinds of spam offers from other local businesses who wanted us to patronize them during our stay. We were also unimpressed that the grill's propane tank ran out a few minutes into the process of grilling our steak on Saturday night. :( We also would have preferred that the staff wait to show up on our deck to collect the trash that had accumalated in our first 24 hours there until we were gone. Aunt Bug's is our least favorite of 3 rental companies we have used in the area. Look elsewhere.

The cabin was clean and very nice. We enjoyed our stay there. The problems were... we expected that this cabin would be secluded since it is supposed to be on 1.5 acres. It's not all. There are two cabins right on top of this cabin. The other issue was the internet. We expected high speed internet but this cabin only has Sprint 3G internet. It's horrible and trying to do anything on the internet is nearly impossible. It IS Sprint 3G and trust me, it's SLOW! If you don't mind those two things then this is a great little cabin. Office staff was great and check in was fast.

The description of the cabin is very misleading. You may sit on over an acre but it is all hill, so if you have children and think they can play in the yard think again. The cabin was not super clean. There was mold around the outside of the tub in one bathroom and in the shower of the other bathroom. Only the king room has a private bathroom. The other room uses the one in the hall. There is some type of animal living in the ceiling above the bathroom of the king room. It would scratch and make noise all night. With a little TLC this cabin could be acceptable.

Pros - location was nice, we had some neighbors but not close by. The screened in hot tub was wonderful, the cabin was clean and had any nice amenities. Cons- communication with the rental company could have been better. Prior to arriving they called to offer us a discount on an extra night, arriving a day earlier. In the process of doing that they made a mistake on our check out day. When we arrived at the cabin it hadn't been cleaned, I called the office and they sent someone out promptly but we had to leave mid way through unpacking after a 7 hour drive. The dishwasher also sprung a leak, I called maintaince and assume they came out because it worked after that but no communication from them or the rental office. The over door did not close all the way and the wi-fi was basically not useable.
