This local host has a no cancellation policy. Their policy is no refunds and no rescheduling. During winter months road conditions may require that you need a 4-wheel drive (if snow or ice is on the ground). No refunds will be given due to inability to get to cabin due to road conditions or grade of driveway. No shows will forfeit any monies put down. After booking, the host offers a Vacation Guarantee for 7% of your total reservation. This enables you to receive a full refund, less the cost of the guarantee, up to 30 days prior to your arrival for a 1 to 4 bedroom cabin, and up to 60 days prior to arrival for 5 bedrooms and larger. Once inside those time periods, the Vacation Guarantee would allow you to reschedule your stay. This is an optional charge post-booking that you can elect to pay directly to the local host company.

An Okay Stay

We stayed in Always and Forever, #118. The size of the cabin was perfect for 2 of us. The location was ok. Could hear traffic below when you we sat on deck. We also had a sewer smell flow past our noses while sitting outside. Enjoyed looking out at the trees. We called the first night to get help with the tv. The instructions did not not match the remote. We asked for a maintenance man to get it working. Never came. Spent 4 nights without a tv. Overall the place was clean but the light fixtures were filled with bugs, the corners and under furniture had spider webs. The bathroom faucet looked like it had toothpaste on it from the last guest. We may give them another try down the road. Every company has bad days....

Not what was expected

More than likely would not stay or rent with this company again. The cabins overall condition was no more than a cheap hotel. The cabin was advertised as 1 br 1ba , when there is in fact no bedroom at all. This cabin would be more suitable for one or two people , not 4 like advertised. PS There was a sketchy vehicle that drove up and down our driveway , and even stoped at our cabin and just sat there.

Policy

Reserved spot less than a week prior to arrival. Found out the day I paid that my friend was approved to be on kidney Transplant list which means we needed to be within 2 hours of Columbus Ohio. Tried to cancel but couldn’t due to policies. I have been in retail customer service my whole life. Policies are and can be broken. Won’t consider this company again or recommend to anyone.
